Nature Notecards

18.00

We’ll take this kind of coal in our stockings. Charcoal pencil on paper notecards - new in the shop. Illustrations by the very talented Sander Gibson found in the book of poetry by Anne Poarch • Poetry titled Flight. What do they evoke for the bike lifestyle? A lot actually. As Basket & Bike encourages a greater connection to the land the BasketBikeShop will look for items that tie us to nature. On your bike excursions you are more likely to see the odd turkey feather (we’ve seen wild turkeys on our @virginiacapitaltrail rides) a wading bird in the soft shallows of a creek, or a rare flower like this Gray's Lily than you’d ever notice by car. Maybe you’ll capture a photo, or carry a notebook to record your discoveries in sketch or verse, or place a feather in your bike basket to bring home and adorn your wreath. Its all in how you mindfully experience your moments and let them evoke a greater capacity for the expansion of your world. It’s little connections. Just don’t pick the rare lily!

Set of 9 - three each turkey feather, crane, flower

Printed in Richmond, Virginia on paper by the French Paper Co.
