BASKET & BIKE grew out of a love of biking, nature, gardens, history, community, and the bounty of local food purveyors.  When I founded this venture in 2015 it was built on a desire to give back to the planet by championing environmental stewardship. Today I believe it needs to be the backbone of this business and I hope to highlight this connection even more in 2019. I ask that you consider your ride with Basket & Bike a leisurely jaunt that will lead you and your friends to unique places along the historic Virginia Capital Trail or the urban avenues of Richmond and Williamsburg with an eye to enjoying the lush scenery, the fresh air, and the carefree thrill of riding your bike for fun with stops along the way to engage in the authentic spirit of the James River, all while promoting the endurance of our landscape. All the while. How about that? You are connecting with nature personally and leaving it better for future generations just by your presence as you pedal.

Therefore, BASKET & BIKE continues to partner with the following organizations, reminding us of our connection to our community, our land, and her waters.  A percentage of every ride will directly benefit one of these rotating causes.  Learn how you can help.
